Willow Court Update #2

May saw the first big month of construction on the Willow Court project. Interior structural framing continued to move up towards the second storey. As the carpenters worked their way up they raised the floors where needed, removed the old flooring, and installed new subfloor. The result is a flat and level surface ready for the interior framing to start. 

The one bedroom section of the building will be ready for interior framing in June, and after that is done the electricians and plumbers will be ready to start roughing in the wiring, water lines, and drain pipes. 

On the exterior, the grading for the walkout basement entrance was completed and holes for the deck footings and supports were dug. A big thanks to T&R Blanchard for their excellent work on the excavation and grading.  Concrete was delivered at the end of the month and the exterior deck work was started at the beginning of June. 

All of the apartments will have separate walkout entrances accessed by a covered porch and staircase. Keep an eye out for our next blog post where we will discuss the floor plans and unit layouts.
